Criminal Activity

In my colony, a jeweller has kept a night watchman.He starts blowing whistles at 10.45. And keeps whistling at an interval of 15 minutes for an hour.Then he blows whistle once at every minute for an hour and then very shrilly at an hour.Is is ok to keep private security?If yes can a night watchman blow whistles at 100 times in a night.It is disturbing.What action can be taken?

first speak to the jeweller about your problem facing by you. If he fails to take any action go for leagl action.

Blowing whistles sound is not so problematic. But traffic horrons and mike sound becomes noice pollutions.

It is the jeweller's option or discretion to engage private security. However, if the frequent whistling causes disturbance, you have option to seek remedial action.

vAt the outset the jeweller alone has no right to appoint a night security watch man for the whole colony.

It should be a collective effort by taking permisdion from the society of your colony.

Thirdly the watch man should be instructed not to blow whistles frequently but rather tap the stick to keep a vigil.

You can file a complaint of public nuisance at nigjt against both.

You are the only person getting disturbed or there are some other residents there in the colony who have objection(s) like you to the private security guard ?

However, noise pollution by loudspeakers may be stopped by reporting to municipal authorities .
