friend's father 62 years, sold a shop in trichy. now he is in ramnad . now trichy police calling him over phone, to attend enquiry in sale dispute. no summon served by police . he is heart patient. now,can his son attend on behalf of his father with his authorisation letter to know the complaint details. or through advocate

Yes, if son is appointed his father's special attorney then he can appear on behalf of his father
