just right copyright and if you want to write year in it then just write 2014 and not 2001

Generally you should write the word Copyright with the year of its creation. If your work is created in 2001 write copyright 2001.

All Copyrights have a definite duration when they expire (60 yrs.)hence you would have to indicate the year of acquiring the rights. Hence it would be 2014.
