Concessions Indian Airlines

The Govt Of India (GOI) forces its employees to travel by Indian Airlines to give it BUSINESS so that it remains afloat. This is while their is ample choice available of better airlines offering cheaper fares.

The GOI however prohibits the employees from availing any concessions offered by the Indian Airlines e.g Spousal Ticket. This double restriction is unconstitutional and impingement on Fundamental Rights.

It also implies that the GOI can also restrict its employees from receiving any concessions like Sale on commodities and insisit that the concessions be returned to them simly beacuse they are the paymasters.

Such restrictive orders are unfair and restrictive and must be withdrawn immediately.

What is the query I have not understood?

GOI already has about 25 years back put restrictiion on avaialing LTC byu privately operate tours and private taxises.

It is GOI who is paying for the fare and there is nothing abnormal to give priority to Govt  airline.  There is no such restricion if AI flight or seat is not available.  No such resctriction is there when you travel on private expenses.

By the way Govt has already resctricted your right to

(i) receive preferential shares.

(ii) Allow your dependents to join firms with which you have official dealing.

(iii) contesting election.

 and many more rights.
