Compromise Decree executed before filing WS means acceptance of averments in plaint

I have entered into Compromise Agreement which was finally decreed by court , the compromise was done after filing of suit ..but defendant voluntarily & amicably settled dispute at WS stage without filing WS ....In Decree also he has accepted certain conditions...my query is it settled law that ...any agreement before WS can we say that the since Defendant has not filed WS and settled that means he has accepted all averments in plaint ? .... because now defendant is objecting on some conditions ...which he has accepted in decree ...but my lawyer says by not filing WS also proves that he accepted all averments in plaint ....sir through this forum if possible please comment on my lawyer view ..... thanks in advance

If comprmise decree is passed no further appeal. If it is in trial stage, you have to conduct the case.
