Complainant using different identities

complainant has filed criminal case with different identity where as he is a habitual offender and convicted in various cases, but stated in his cross examination that he is not having any criminal / civil cases against him. what is the remedy for accused to show his actual character and what offence is made out against him?

Focus on the issue of the complaint, the complainant's background  may reduce the impact but can not help in closing the complaint.  Even a thief can complain to Police if there was a theft in his house.  His past conviction in theft can not be a disqualification for investigation into the theft in his house.
