Code of conduct

A Sub-Inspector of Police was attacked and later arrested when he went to arrest a lawyer inside the High Court complex of Madras. The Advocate  was involved in an attempted murder case. The sub-Inspector was surrounded by other lawyers and was attacked and based on the complaint raised by the advocates, the sub-inspector was arrested. As a common man, I have the following questions:

1)      Is it an offence to arrest an Advocate who was evading the police in an attempt to murder related enquiry in the High Court Complex ?

2)      Is there any specific rule or law that an accused should not be arrested inside the court complex?

3)      Can an ordinary person who attempted murder hide inside a court premises and evade arrest ?

Now the attacked person having died,  the advocate gone absconding. Why should he go absconding ? If he has not done anything wrong why should he be afraid ? He will abscond, get Anticipatory Bail and again start roaming freely in the society ?  Is it for this he studied law or does he think that being an advocate he can take the law in his hand ? He is a black sheep to the noble profession of Advocates and the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu should initiate necessary action based on the news. Will the Bar Council do such things ?
