Who are the actual beneficiaries in India since Independence? Lower Castes Hindu majority or upper castes Hindu minority? Lower castes converted to other minority religions eg Islam, Christian , Buddhists, Jains,Sikhs or Upper Castes converted to other religious minority? Erstwhile Nawabs, Maharajas, Lords, Roy Bahadurs, Land Lords or the peasants, labourers, artizans --.The answers to all the questions above are obvious.
Whether it the bureaucratic class , the autocratic Military Officers, The para Military and the Civil police the top echelons are held hostaged by the upper castes Hindus, converted upper castes of other minority religions or the imported Muslims, Jews , Parsies .
How did this happen to the so called largest functional democracy in the world , India? How the upper castes Brahmin First Manuwadis are still calling the shots in a secular, socialist democratic country like India.Why the lowest of the lower castes namely Scheduled castes are abegging their right ful place in a secular socialist democracy which is supposed to be of the people , for the people and by the people.
Is it so complex to comprehend? Is it the DNA s of the lower castes are still under developed in comparison and hence they can't understand simple arithmatics of numbers in a democracy? Why the national , notional , regional, sectorial , communal political parties in India end up selecting more than two third upper castes Hindus candidates in the name of winnability that results into upper castes elected two third majority candidates at all levels?
Is it again so complex that lower castes leaders , followers , voters can't comprehend? Why the lower castes can not regroup itself snatch the power at all levels starting from the Panchyats to municipalities to Assembly to Loksabha, Rajya Sabha , to PM and then to President? Once in the saddle the lower castes majority can frame their own rule , own parameters in respect to judiciary, bureaucracy , police , para-military and even military. It is the rule of majority in a democracy damn it.
