Can grand daughter claim her share in meter Al grand mother property.

My meternal grand mother have 3 sons and 4 daughters, now out of 4 daughters 2 daughters died, Now my meternal grand mother does the property partition between alive children, my mother was expired. Should I claim for my died mother share, there are any provision in the Indian property act? Please suggest
