Buying land from muslim

Dear Experts,

I want to buy site.

This site belonged to muslim who later sold it to his brother.

We should buy from his brother now.

Kindly advice

1..What are the most important documents that i need to ask for from the seller.

2.Do Muslim sellers have any special laws to bypass/override our laws to nullify my purchase from the muslim brother.

Please advice what i should be very cautious about.

Regards,

theju.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, there is a sale deed in which younger brother has purchased from elder brother. In this case what are the other documents need to be verified to confirm the younger brother is the sole owner of the current property.

Also, please advice if there are any specific Muslim law applicable in this case.

Hello,

Lot of documents is there for checking property. contact your nearest advocate before buy.. Each property has a history.. be careful about the land owners legal heirs and other relevant details.
