Bringing liquor in gujarat

Hi,

I am travelling from Delhi to Gujarat by car, would like to know if it is possible to carry liquor. Can permit be taken online? Can we carry liquor and then take the permit there?

The Gujarat state prohibition and excise department has decided to give managers of hotels with liquor shops the authority to issue tourist liquor permits to people coming to Gujarat from abroad or from some other states. Such licences are currently issued by the local prohibition and excise inspector.
