Adoption procedure and fees

Dear querist,

You have not mentioned whether you are Hindu or from other religion.

Assuming you are Hindu, register the adoption deed with sub registrar with consent of the biological father of the son if he is alive. In most cases you don’t need to go to court for adoption.

Fees for registration are nominal dnt worry about that just few hundred.
