Adoption

Hi All.. I'm 55 years old man.My wife passed away 2 years ago.My brother in law (my deceased wife's brother) takes care of me.He is 33 years old.I would like to give him my share of my ancestral property which is yet to be divided. We are Roman Catholic(Christian) by religion. My question is-

1.Can I adopt him as my son and make sure that he'll get my part of the ancestral property (whenever it is divided).

2.Is there any other way that I can make sure he gets my part of ancestral property?

Please Reply.

Roman Catholic cannot take an adoption legally. You can make a gift deed infavour of your brother in law.
