Acquiring inheritted property by foriegn national

Dear Sir,

I am Indian citizen and I have inheritted agriculture property. My son is US citizen but residing in India.

Whether my son can acquire this inheritted property from me (After my death)?

If I do not make any Last will, what happens to the property in case my Son is not eligible?
