A court or magistrate cannot call for any further report in

I WANT TO KNOW WHETHER THERE IS ANY SCOPE FOR A COURT TO CALL FOR FURTHER REPORT UNDER SECTION 202 CR.P.C.?

I WANT JUDGEMENT ON THE NEGATIVE POINT.. THAT A COURT OR MAGISTRATE CANNOT CALL FOR ANY FURTHER REPORT IN CASE OF ENQUIRY UNDER SECTION 202 CR.P.C.

IT IS VERY URGENT FOR ME.. I AM A JUNIOR LAWYER.. EXPERTS PLEASE HELP..

yes ,Magistrate  can insist for the same he has powers to go for that., For judgements you can go through lot of legal websites, but even then on production of judgements , vindicating your stand,,it will be a Magistrate call. So try to persuade him and get it admitted on correction  or production of the same.

there is no hard and fast rule not to call for subsequent status report but if that report satisfies following condition;

1. misuse of process of law

2. previous report was defective

3. some new facts are incorporated in to a case;

Otherwise you can not call for subsequet report arbitrarily
