Society registration wb

Naming a society:
Recently some of my friends tried to form a society. While preparing of the Memorandum, they took help from an experience NGO member. During that, I heard that a society must contain the location name and the word SOCIETY within the name. ie, Kolkata Blind education society. Is this true? What if I remove the location Kolkata from the name? Will the application be rejected for that reason?

If the location is a must, then on what basis? Can we use village or city name like Kolkata ? Can we use District name like Darjeeling Blind education society? Can we use state name as West Bengal Blind education society? Or can we use country name like Indian Blind education society?

When I googled about names of registered society, I could not find such condition.

Waiting for your kind reply.

Is it possible to get gst for individual name?

My friend is growing mushroom for a few years. Recently I suggested him to register himself into some online eCommerce sites and sell his product at retail rate also. For example, the company purchase his mushroom at rate Rs 600 per KG but the same product is listed in amazon.in at Rs 1000 per Kg. So it is really beneficial to sell a part online at retail price and send the remaining to companies at wholesale rate.

But while trying to get a seller account on Amazon, I saw that GST number is mandatory. So I tried to help him register into GST portal also. But the portal is asking for "Legal business name" and PAN number for that business. The candidate is a farmer and does not have any registered business name or trade license. He has PAN card on his personal name.

My question is
Can a citizen get GST number is such situation? Or what are the must-have requirements for it?

Thanks in advance.

Finding last three sale deed of a land

I need copy of last three sale deeds of a land property in West Bengal but I don't have the deed numbers and the office of registration.I have the plot number and present owner name as found in land and revenue website. If I can get the deed numbers and the office where registered, it is possible to get the copies. I have queried into the nearest sub-registrar office. They told me to apply at concerned registrar's office along with with those information.

Experts please tell me that, from where I can get the information. What documents I have to ask from them? Can I ask for the documents through RTI or any better option is available? If last three deeds are not possible to find, at least help me to get the latest one.

The land is located in West Bengal.

Joint account in bank. operator rights

Q1) In Either or Survivor, is there any difference between the rights of first and second operator? Is there any action that the first can perform but not the second?

2) Is there any difference of the rights of operators for different banks? To be clear, I saw that UCO bank asks authorisation from all the operators to grant internet banking, mobile banking or ATM card to any operator even for Either or Survivor account. But this authorisation is not required in Union Bank of India and SBI (I personally know about these two). Any of the operator can individually apply for these facilities as the authorisation is given by default in Either-Or clause.

Debit card policy of UCO Bank: https://www.ucobank.com/pdf/Debit%20Card%20Policy.pdf
Clause 12. Issuance of Cards to Joint Accounts
Card will be issued to either or survivor. Primary card will be issued to the primary account holder and add-on card(s) may be issued to other joint account holder(s) after taking proper declaration.

3) If the first operator of an a/c with Either-or-survivor clause die, is there any time period to operate the a/c by the other one? Can the bank impose any restriction on operation of that a/c by second operator?

In any of the above cases, if the bank creates any illegal restriction on the rights of an operator, where to ask for the remedy first?

Jammu kashmir rti for outsider students

The scenario is as follows:

Suppose I was a student of the ''University of Jammu" After my examination and very low marks, I applied for a review which shown no change of marks. So I want to see copies of my answer papers.

Now the problem is that, as a candidate, only I can apply for copies of my answer papers. But Section 3 of J&K RTI Act says that only residents of J&K can apply for Information.

So, the situation is
Nobody other than me can ask the copies of my answer sheets.

I also can not ask for my answer sheets as I am not a resident of J&K.

So, even this information is not under restricted category, nobody can seek for it. It is creating a black box situation with no transparency at all.

There are many students from other states in different institutes of J&K. They all pay time and money for the courses but do not have right to seek
information.

Is there any special provision for the students? How the outsider students can get information about their courses and institutes which is very crucial for them? I think, there should be some way. Is there
any really?

Rti act jammu and kashmir

Dear Experts,

In west Bengal, a student of university or college can ask for his evaluated answer sheets under RTI act. I want to know if it is same in the whole counrty also. Especially I want to know the situation of JK. If there is any verdict of court or Commission, any history of such case, any success story.

Searching internet, I could not find satisfactory result about JK but several other SIC and CIC plus court judgments are in favour of the students/applicants. Here is a link of some success stories I found http://www.moneylife.in/article/results-season-thanks-to-rti-students-can-now-access-their-answer-sheets/16714.html

But JK is a special state, so I am asking whether the rules are the same there.

Thanks.

West bengal: validity of b ed from jk without ncte

1. I am (and several hundred other also) presently in the course of B.Ed. under the University of Jammu.

2. The institute is not accredited by NCTE.

3. As per West Bengal School Service Commission, the Degree of B.Ed is essential for the post of school teacher and it must be from NCTE recognized institute.

4. NCTE Act is not applicable in the state of JK.

5. As per notification of MHRD, the degree obtained from recognised institute of JK is valid in other state. (File attached)

6. Allahbad HQ said that B Ed from any state, where NCTE act is not applicable is valid in other places. http://kalvimalar.dinamalar.com/news-details.asp?cat=1&id=6027

-------------------
Now the question is:
1. Can WB Govt refuse us to give same status with NCTE approved B.Ed?

2. The B Ed course is in English Medium. But my First Language was not English. Can I seek employment in Eng medium school also?

Thanks to all in advance.

Rti to see evaluated paper of tet (wb primary) exam

My respected lawyers,
I was a candidate of the exam Teacher Eligibility Test 2013 (West Bengal Board of Primary Education). In this exam, only 1% of candidate has qualified, which is a shocking record. I want to get a certified photocopy of my answer sheet along with the appropriate set of given question-paper with the correct answer. So that I can check it myself and use it as evidence if anything found wrong.

Is this demand legal? I heard that competitive exams are not covered under RTI Act.

Addition:
I am hearing also that NCERT has said that this exam was not held according to the guideline so it may be cancelled completely. If it is true, then the exam fee of 18 Lackhs candidates will go to some cheater’s pocket. In such case, I want to demand free admit for the next exam or to return this cancelled one’s fee to the candidates.

Is this demand legal? How and where to demand for it?

PG without Graduation

Can anyone have a Post Graduate degree (from regular or open university) or diploma without having graduation? as reff: please read the news http://www.hindu.com/2009/02/27/stories/2009022755171300.htm

If that PG is valid, then is it of same status with graduate + PG?

If the PG is invalid without graduation, and the student acquire a graduation after completing any such PG, will it have value?

Mess with a Story

Respected Experts,
Before some days, I read a Bengali novel in eBook (pdf) format. It was a good story.

Presently I saw an website is posting the story in their forum in story section. They did not changed the name of story or the writer. They changed some portion of the story.

The mentioned forum is "Adults story forum" and they are inserting Porno Dialects and sexual scene description that was not in the original story. the forum is xbii.com. This site is very popular among the Bengali porno readers, so the writer is marked as "porno writer" among those gentlemen.

The real author was publishing his story part by part in an e-magazine. As the result of the above incident, he just stopped the story and do not want to write again.

Please suggest how to stop these nuisances?
