my grandfather made a gift deed of his self acquired property on my name and we legally registered it. now when I applied for khata transfer my father's elder brother filed a case against the khata transfer on my name.
The case is in pending in taluk office.
To favour my side now I have to prove the land is a self acquired property of my grandfather but my grandfather have lost all the sales deed documents of that land.
So my question is - what documents are required to prove the land is my grandfather's self acquired property and not ancestral?
