I want to change my name in my school and college marks cards. However, Karnataka Education department has rejected my application and has told that only on submission of court decree, it will be considered.
I approached Civil court for issuing court decree. Accordingly, notice has been issued to Education department and university. No reply was received to notice. All these things was presented in front of judge. However, Judge has denied to pass the order immediately saying that I have put the petition very late (after completing my PG) and I should have approached the court well before itself. AND ALSO TOLD THAT THERE IS NO VALID REASON. The case is postponed for submitting further argument.
Please let me know how to proceed. Is there any high court/Supreme court orders available.

Hi,
My father have changed his name from syed rahim to v rahim .
and i am facing an issue while applying for passport
beacause in my sslc marks card my father name is syed rahim & in other documents it is v rahim .
please advise.

I have done my SSC from CBSE borad.The Leavining certificate provided by CBSE School doesnot indicate Place of birth.
Let me repeat it again, "Doesnot indicate place of birth", yes of course, it indicate all other thing like date of birth,nationality and all.
Then i apply for my HSC in GSBE that is Gujarat Board Education.Now in Leaving certificate provided by my 12th school does have the place of birth column as blank.
Since in CBSE place of birth is not shown, the Gujarat board school has left it blank.
Now, my problem is that i want to apply for passport, do i may required to show place of birth and if so then how can get it..

My grand daughter is aged 15 years. After her father's death in an accident in 2002, I got my daughter remarried to a divorcee in 2007 and an adaption deed was also registered. Now when Approached passport dept for a fresh pass port for my grand daughter,they insist on the divorce decree issued by the US court to be attested by them, for adding her name in father's passport. On enquiries with US dept they refused to do the same as presently he is not residing in USA.I need a solution for this problem and we are in a fix to know how to go about.
Could you please help in this regard. they live in Bangalore now.

I want to apply for passport in TATKAL scheme.I got verification certificate on Rs.20/- non judicial stamp by first class magistrate judge of Tadipatri. whether it is acceptable? and identified by advocate appointed by A.P. government.I got affidavit through NOTARY on annexure.Still I am in dubious state. Please guide me.

I Thirulogachander PL from chennai and i had changed my name as Dinesh PL in Tamilnadu Gazette by last month. Now i had to change it in all my documents Like 10th, 12th, UG Marksheets and convocation certificates. Kindly help me

hi all,
i am not sure whether i am posting this in the right catergory or not. but still i would think tht experts would have the ans. My quiry is regarding the renewal of passport. As the pages is exausted i need to renew my passport. in my previous passport, my husband name is included. since i am seperated ( staying apart and no contact but not legally )from past 8 years, i would like to know whether i can select the column seperated in the passport application form. if so i am interested to know what are the documents i need to submit inorder not to have my husbands name in my current passport.
