How much tax should i pay?

I am a salaried person with annual salary of approx. Rs.5,00,000/-. I do tax savings of Rs.1,50,000/- under section 80C. Hence I have to pay at least Rs.10300/- as income tax for the financial year 2016-17. Now in addition with all this, I have sold some gold ornaments worth Rs.7,00,000/- on 18th October 2016. My in-laws gifted the ornaments to me and my wife on our wedding in March 2013. My wife is a housewife. Now I intend to know what kind of tax should I pay for this and how much?

Rejection of name from voter's list

I am a voter of Diamond Harbour Assembly Constituency (under Diamond Harbour Parliamentary Constituency) from West Bengal, India. By Profession I am an Assistant Teacher in a Govt. sponsored higher secondary school. For my job I am living in a rented house 80 K.M. away from my permanent residence for the last six years with my family. My permanent residence is empty and locked. At the time of last Parliamentary Election in 2014, I came to know that my name along with my family members' has been deleted from the voters' List without any correspondence!
I usually cast my vote through postal ballot (ED Vote) as, being a govt. employee, I am to perform election duty at the time of each and every election. Last time it was impossible due to the deletion.
My query is-
1. Is the deletion legal?
2. What is the legal procedure to delete a voter's name from the Voters' List?
3. If it is illegal, whom can I challenge and how?

Car accident

I am the owner of a Mahindra Bolero Car. On 13/07/2015 my driver (paid employee) was driving the car with his friends. At 2:30 a.m. the car hits a roadside brick-pile and a lamp post.As a result one of the 6 passengers dies on the way to hospital. The driver is seriously injured and hospitalized. The car is totally damaged. The car was insured against accident and damage. The insurance cover was for owner and driver too. My query is-
1. Can I (the owner of the car) be accused in any criminal offense in this case?
2. What should I do if the family of the dead person claims any financial damage?
3. Is there any legal protection that I can take?

Selling of property

My father died on 09/09/2009, leaving behind a property of 1.33 acres of cultivation land in West Bengal. I am one of his successors. Other successors are my mother, my younger brother, my younger step-brother and two younger step sisters. My step mother is dead. One of my step sisters is married and another is not. Relation between we(me+my brother+my mother) and my step brother and sisters is not good at all.
Can we(me+my brother+my mother) sell our part (0.665 acres of the said land) of property legally without any information giving to my step brother and sisters?
