May be this would be a basic question, but unfortunately I have no Idea. Hence would request advise.
I am a member of an association registered under Indian trade Union Act. During Registration, The rules, submitted requires election to be held annually. However, Now the current executive body, wants to extend its & all future body's term to 2 years.
My querry is,
1) If the current body's act will be tenable?
2) Do the association need to inform the Registrar about the change and how?

Dear Experts,
This relates to an MACT case of my Father which was filed 5 years ago. Unfortunately, as on date I really don't have any update about the same and my Lawyer has not been forthcoming about the same and all my requests and urges to him has not fructified.
Hence, under the circumstances, how can I find out the status of the case and retrieve the records thereof from the concerned court(MACT-II). I do have the case number with which was shared by him.
Further, will it be possible to retrieve the records from the insurance company, against whom the claim has been filed? If so, how?

Dear Experts,
This is regarding the Death of our Grand father. He died on march 31, 2002. Unfortunately, my father or my uncles never applied for a death certificate and now even my father died of an accident on February 2, 2010. Is there any way I can apply for death certificate of my Grand father? Please help.

Dear Experts,
My querry is regarding the LPG DBTL scheme. Can any body advise if a person, who has family in one state and residing herself/himself in some other state, apply for subsidy in both the connections.
In my case, my suster's family is in Odisha and she herself is in Delhi for job conditions. and has both 2 connections in both states. can she apply for subsidy in both the connections?

Sir/Madam,
Sorry if I am repeating a simple question. We are an Association under trade union act in Motion picture industry. In order to ensure equal work to all members and surety of payments, we used to send workers on rotation basis to different production houses in serial industry on daily wage basis, which are paid at the end of the month by the production house to the association(in some cases directly to the workers also) for disbursal.
Hence under the circumstances, is any tds is liable to be deducted by the production. If so, what would be the percentage and under which section. Please also note that the no worker in any case gets more than 5000.00 per month.
Most important, since theses workers are hardly 10th pass, primarily agricultural workers, with part time work in movie industry during lean periods, what can be the best way to help them avoid any TDS as they will definitely find it difficult to file Returns and claim a refund.
A prompt guidance will help us put forth our side of the story to the production houses.

This query is regarding Online purchases. In my case the dispute is about non-provision of retail invoice despite being promised of the same, when I purchased the item on www.ebay.in.
Now the situation is:
1. I live in odisha, Cuttack
2. Ebay and he seller are in Mumbai.
3. The item was delivered to me at Cuttack, Odisha
Then, under the circumstances, where should I file the complaint?

I wanted to open a PPF account favouring my Minor Son and wanted to contributions to be out of HUF.
The bank refused the same, citing that they dont have any clear guidlines regarding the same.
Please advise if same is possible under current income tax provisions.
Any citation, will help the bank decide.

Our Association is registered under Trade union Act and we are interested in providing ESI to our member workers.
On small question, is it mandatory to enroll for EPF also to get ESI or can we have ESI only?

This refers to the service matter of my cousin, who joined an NGO about a year ago.
The problem is that she is beng summoned time and again to unrecorded and unminuted meetings and is being threatened of dire consquences.
She has been asking them to put the issues in writing, so that she can defend herself. which is not happening at all. Today she was once again called, wherein even her request to minute the meeting has been refused, while bullying has continued.
What should she do? She is in Delhi. So open to any personal meeting there.

Mact case
Dear all,
This is in relation to my father's MACT case.
Its been 6 years old and as advised by learned experts to my earlier querry, I have decided to change the lawyer, however the situation has got more complicated. Its been 4 months that I have been running to all the 3 MACT courts here, but unable to find the records of the case. Today even the new lawyer has expressed his inability to help.
Hence under the circumstances, what are my options to officially retrieve the case papers or request for a search of the same.
Please advise,
If filling an RTI would help retrieve the papers from the tribunal?
Also please advise if I can file an RTI in reference to this MACT with NEW INDIA ASSURANCE, in an attempt to get the case status?
