lawyer delays case by absence

in 498 A case Respondent lawyer delayed to cross lawyer were absent wilfully and the judge passed all the time .they mostly not giving exemptions also. and judge even never ask for exemption.what to do .......

Normally it doesn't happens, u didnt mentioned here is it a state case or complaint case, u can file a application praying for closure of opportunity to cross examination, absense of lawyer is not a legal groung to be exempted

You have to specifically stress at Hon'ble Judge while the respondent lawyer trying to ask the adjournment.

on the next date of hearing if the lawyer does not appear, then make a request to the court for closure of opportunity....the trial can not be delayed merely because of absence of lawyer....if the judge declines your prayer then get the orders for expediting the trial from the concerned HC.

Its a State Case ,and they give expenditure for the trial and its Rs 200/- only, and actual i m spending 2000 to 3000 for trial for travel and stay .
