Joint ownership of a property

Sir my father and mother have both jointly owned a property in Maharashtra Thane. my mother is the 1st holder and my father is the 2nd holder my father expired do my mother automatically become the owner of the property as my father left no will and no nomination was done.

The legal heirs of the father, as per the personal law governing him, will become the joint owners of his share of the property on his demise, and of course, his wife is also one among them.

Either first or 2nd owner, your parents have equal rights over the property. If Hindu, now your father died intestate, your mother, you, and other legal heirs have equal rights over your father's 1/2 share.

As per personal laws governing succession of your father 50% share of deceased shall devolve upon his legal representatives, as advised by experts, which I concur and appreciate.
