I think now Aadhaar Card is an alternative for ration cards.

Yes , Adhar card can be submitted in place of Ration card.

In absence of a ration card of surety, the court may reject the surety and ask to furnish another surety.

In absence of a ration card of surety, the court may reject the surety and ask to furnish another surety. You may ask the court for cash surety in alternative of regular surety.
