Eviction of caretaker from the premises

(Querist) 04 September 2021 This query is : Resolved
We have employed a caretaker in our bungalow in Khandala for the past 25 years. Despite repeated requests to the caretaker, he and his family refuse to vacate our premises. Kindly advice as to what stand should we take to evict him from our bungalow

Either throw his belongings out of the premises
or
File a suit for eviction after serving a legal notice u/s 106 of TPA.

File an eviction suit against him and his family.

Thank you sir. If we file the Suit for Eviction what is the time duration for the decree from the court. As such is there any possibility for the caretaker to get any favourable judgment or relief from the Court?

Is the caretaker still in your service? Once his service ends, he is bound to vacate the premises. If he refuses, you can take action to evict him.

Hello,

You have to file eviction suit to evict tenant from property. We cannot predict the time and about the judgement, it all depend how your advocate conduct the case. You have good case against the tenant.
