What is the time limit of filing court case after legal noti

If I send legal notice to anyone, how long can I sue them in court from the date of sending the legal notice.And what will be the time period to file a case against them in District Consumer forum?

There is no requirement of issuance of legal notice for instituting a complaint before consumer commission, however, complaint has to be filed within 2 years of cause of action in terms of Section 69 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Issuance of legal notice is not mandatory for instituting complaint in consumer matters.Complaint can be filed within two years from the arose of cause of action.

Yes, legal notice is not mandatory and hence, would not be taken into account while computing period of limitation.
