Ghar jamai rights on the ancestral property

One of my fathers brother has been a ghar jamai for the past 30 years. He never really looked after his parents nor his kids recognise their paternal side of the family. Now he wants his share in the ancestral property. What does the indian constitution says about ghar jamai's rights on the ancestral property? What does our constitution say about people that has abandoned his parents?

"Ghar Jamai" is rather a vacuus term; it is a status unknown to law. Whatever be the context, he continues to be a co-parcener to the ancestral property and a legal heir to his parents etc. Any attempt to deprive of him his legal rights based on this invented perception would be ill-advised; it would not stand the scrutiny of law.

Being Ghar Jamai does not dientitle him to claim share in his ancestral property.

Such person is not entitled any share in his in-laws property but has all his share intact in his ancestral property.
