Can an NRi's family in UK apply for court of protection in INDIA, for elderly parents living in UK and are unable to look after their properties in INDIA due to mental and physical disability. Not in a position to issue a Power of Attorney. we are unable to Register a UK Power of Attorney in India..

The old aged parents can give a POA to be executed before the Consulate in the abroad giving power to one of their kith and kin who is in India to look after their properties in India. The POA given by the old aged parents shall be validated within 3 months after receipt in India.

Old and ailing parents can get a PoA attested in UK authorising someone at their home in India.
Prima facie it is a hypothetical and fabricated academic story posted by an anonymous person.
