@P.Venu sir we are in posession and we are the owner of property, some person just made a non notarised, no registered one-year rent agreement on our property. Is it legal or illegal?
P. Venu (Expert) 03 December 2019
If you are in possession, why the civil suit?
Sankaranarayanan (Expert) 03 December 2019
First you answer Mr.Venu's question? Moreover without tenancy how s person made agreement ? you aware some one misbehavior your property then your right place to knock the door is Police station and file a criminal complaint against the the person.
Dr J C Vashista (Expert) 05 December 2019
The alleged rent agreement is a piece of paper, which is invalid in the eyes of law, if your story is true.
It is cheating and fraud
It is advisable to consult a local prudent lawyer with relevant documents/facts for proper appreciation, guidance and proceeding.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 16 December 2019
There is no such law permitting such sham document. It has no value in the eyes of law and is liable to be set aside. As advised an expert, you should obtain the copy of alleged agreement and then should file a police case against him. You can also file an application under section 340 Cr PC in the ongling civil suit and may pray before the same court to initiate criminal action against such person producing false affidavit/documents before the court.
