A LAWYER KEPT BANKER CHEQUE , UNLESS CLIENT DOES NOT PAY 50 % OF AMOUNT FURTHER HE SOUGHT RS 10000 TO GIVE DETAIL OF CHEQUE -HE RECEIVED FROM LABOUR COURT.
AFTER LONG PERIOD OF 9 YRS -HE GOT DUPLICATE CHQ FROM COURT.
CAN CONSUMER COURT ENTERTAIN THE COMPLAINT AGAINST SUCH DISHONEST AND GREEDY ADVOCATE ? PL GUIDE.

in a labour death claim case , excess money was deposited.this excess money nearly rs50000 was returned to depositor advocate via banker chq.he received banker chq in yr 2011but did not given to his client,unless demand of 50% ios not prepaid .
so this is clear dificiency in service.would consumer court hear ?

Make an pleading to your concerned State Bar Council in detail along with required fee for it normally less than Rs 3000/- and the Bar Council would do the needful

Any grievance against Advocates the concerned State Bar Council would be the Right Choice than Consumer Forums

thanks sir,
but to file in consumer court-- is there any restriction under law.to keep ones money for a decade -only to blackmail him -is a serious.pl advice -whether to go in court against errant is acceptable in consumer court ?
