My relative recently selected for a state government job. But he has a matrimonial case under section 498A. He is the brother of main accused person. Never he was arrested or interrogated. Now last three years both the husband and wife staying together and have a child of 1 year.
Now the query is, in police verification process/ report it will be carry negative or any bound for join in the service?

But ensure that you don't conceal the fact in attestation/other forms required to be filled for police verification.

If they are living together since last 3 years, get the FIR quashed or closure report filed.

If they are living together since last 3 years, get the FIR quashed or closure report filed. However even after quashing or closure or your acquittal the facts shouldn't be concealed from any authority.

Not able to agree

It is irrelevant if now husband and wife are residing together.

It is irrelevant if they have a child also now.

It is irrelevant whether he was arrested/interrogated or not.

What relevant is whether criminal case is pending against him or not (you did not reveal this)

You need to be disclose the particulars of the case pending against you as and when sought. The circumstances posted suggest that there is a fair chance to get the FIR/proceedings by the High Court.
