IN AN FIR CASE 498A, COMPLAINANT HAS NOT ENGAGED ANYBODY TO REPRESENT HER AS SHE WAS TOLD THAT PP WILL TAKE CARE HER CASE. HOWEVER, SHE IS NOT SATISFIED.

A) CAN SHE FILE WRITTEN SUBMISSIONS HERSELF IN THE COURT WITHOUT ENGAGING ANY COUNSEL AS SHE CANNOT PAY HIGH FEE

B) WILL SHE REQUIRE ANY PERMISSION FROM THE MAGISTRATE BEFORE THAT

THANKS PAWAR SIR. HOW PERMISSION SHOULD BE OBTAINED.

As the PP is appearing on behalf of the prosecution, one can not interfere the PP to proceed with case. Even your lawyer. But in practice if you engage a lawyer or want to appear your self, the PP generally do not object. The permission required only when you are not in friendly terms with the PP otherwise it is ordinary to handle case at your own.
