Hi Experts,
I have been attacked by my wife and her lover when caught red-handed for which I have filed an FIR. Now because of the fear of Dowry and domestic violence case, my lawyer asked me to file section 9 so I did.
Once I got a call from mahila thana, and told that my in-laws have given complaint for Dowry and Domestic Violence for which I have to present there. But due to the fear of my life I didn't go because I know my MIL and wife could harm me there.
From the registered post I sent them the FIR, my MLR and Section 9 document to the SP and that mahila thana.
Now with the help of my source, I came to know that they filed a case in the court against me.
Now how can I save myself from these cases?
What are the steps should I take now?
I don't want to give them a single penny.
After this much, I decided I can't live with her.

Presently Adultery is not a Crime in India and it could be only a Legally Valid ground for obtaining Divorce. Better show all the related documents to a local good advocate and discuss.

If you don't want to live with her, why filled RCR case ? Your lawyer misguided you and made you to file RCR rather judicial separation or divorce case against her, this shows the caliber of the lawyer.
Better change your present lawyer, withdraw RCR and file divorce case against her.

Sir kindly urgently note that.... 1 .as you were called to dist police supdt office mahila harassment section on complaint of wife.and you did not appear but sent details by post.they must have sent closure report and directed the police station to file f.i.r.against the family members mentioned in said complaint. 2.police might have registered f.i.r.under sec.498a and other relevent sections as per allegations.against you and your family named in complaint.3 it is advisible to apply to sessions court under sec.438 of crpc for anticipatory bail mentioning all facts and get interim anticipatory bail which will protect you and your family from sudden unexpected arrest and humiliation.keep ready surety documents or cash security amount for depositing in court for furnishing surity in court. Please follow the suggestions from learned expert Mr. Vijay Raj Mahajan. You may also ascertain the particulars of cases registered against you and their present status. There is no need to rush for anticipatory bail, even if the allegations involve Section 498A IPC.

RCR notice is a time tested tool to compel wife to raise true/false complaint of dowry/domestic violence against husband with family including married/unmarried brother/sisters wit/without their spouse. This way husband leaves her with no choice but to spoil his family even if she does not want to do so.
This forum is full of such cases where husband with parents/siblings faced such criminal charges.
After visiting jails people realise that the situation inside Indian Jails is not as rosy as shown in movies and the cops are also comedians in movies which is not in actual life.
