Section 420 criminal case compromise 50% amount settled and due financial constrain not able to pay the remaining balance. Request for the relief for extension of time is denied. Now honourable HC ordered for the day to day proceedings, please advise further course of action. Regards

Compromise in section 420 IPC proceeding is only possible if both parties reach an agreement and whole amount due is paid by the accused. If the whole amount not paid the the complainant may no compromise as that was the last resort for him to recover his dues that otherwise was not being paid.
The day to day court case proceeding will help then prosecution to get the accused behind the bars as soon as it is possible which in regular course of time takes number of years and as well know, justice delayed is justice denied, earlier it's better.
