Sir/ Madam,
My complaint is against whirlpool. The purchase and service happened in south Delhi. For family reasons I am in Ranchi now. Company didn't co-operate on consumer helpline or on emails. I have all documents with me. My demand is half service charge or written apologize from management. Can I file my case in Ranchi consumer forum?

You can file consumer complaint at station where cause of action complete or partial took place or where opposite party resides or work for gain or has head office or branch office. If the company has branch office in Ranchi, or you can show, cause of action partially took place in Ranchi, then you can file consumer complaint in Consumer Forum in Ranchi.

You can file consumer complaint at place where head office or zonal office of said company is situated.

Since you are now residing at RANCHI and using the machine at Ranchi, the machine malfunctioned hence the cause of actin arose at Ranchi. If the company is having any service center at Ranchi and you took any service from Ranchi service center then the complaint may be filed at Ranchi

Check the warranty/guarantee card and if there exist any service centre at Ranchi,make complaint and if they ref�se to resolve the same then file complaint before DCRF at Ranchi.you can also file complaint at the place where opposite party carr�es the business or have regd/head office or branch office.
