About Passport

(Querist) 31 May 2018 This query is : Resolved
We were lived on rented house for many year and my all documents have this address. Now we are changed home and live in different rented house. So now I want to apply for passport so
1) Is this necessary to change in address of all documents?
2) if I will write permanent address as old rented house and present address as new rented house so both rent agreement necessary or not?

First tell me where in Passport it is mentioned as Permanent Address or Present Address? Check the last page of passport you presently hold. The change of address has to be provided with proof of new address, as you are not living at the old address how can you call that as your permanent address? You educated youngster lack common-sense that's the trouble with you. Just mention for all purpose the new address as your place of residence, permanent/present as the case may be and attach proof of this address, vide Aadhar, Voter's ID , Ration Card, Driving Licence as the case may be showing this as the place of residence for you.

No need to mention old address. Mention your New or current address and attach proof of this address vide Driving license,Voter ID, Adhaar card Ration card etc as permanent address. And showing this as place of residence.for you.

Rented house cannot be considered as a permanent address. On verification from the neighbors or the owner of the old rented house address you can be held guilty of and liable for prosecution for submitting false information willfully.
