Examination in chief on affidavit

Can an examination-in-chief submitted in DV Case before a magistrate be allowed to be amended on the ground of typical error

After cross examination, correction in chief examination not possible but you can produce additional evidence to rectify the error. Before cross examination you can change if court allow or you have option of additional evidence.

So far as it relates to some clerical tying error it may be amended with the permission of court.

Typographical;clerical; errors can be amended before cross examination.

The typographical error can be corrected at the later stage also but before the cross examination commences, provided the chief examination had been submitted in the form of proof affidavit.

I doubt the MM/JMIC would be asking the aggrieved person or respondent to submit their evidence by way of affidavit ? Recheck.
