Divorce

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 26 November 2017 This query is : Resolved
I've been operated at the age of 5 years and one of my leg is 1cm short compared to other leg though I don't have any difficulties with the functioning of my leg. However this issue hasn't been informed to my husband or his family before marriage. Now my husband is demanding for a divorce. How should I proceed?

This no ground for divorce. Your husband will get his divorce petition dismissed.

If this health condition is not affecting the day to day life then it will be a major issue. The petition will get dismissed.

Though it is not a ground for divorce, your husband can say that his consent was obtained by concealing material fact. Such marriages are voidable. However after the knowledge of this fact if he continued to stay with you for more than 1 year. He can file petition for divorce.
