NO youare not eligible to apply for Government service as you are convicted under section 283 IPC. If you go in appeal and if you are acquitted then you are eligible to apply for govt jobs.

If police filed charge sheet against you and the court is inquiring in to your offences under chargesheet etc and aftder trial you are acquitted with a clean chit you gain eligibility to govt service of Rajasthan.

Vague description. Both the events, "convicted" and "pending case in court" cannot be true at a time.

Please state clearly, have you been convicted in the case or the case is still pending trial in the court?
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 08 November 2017
whether convicted or pending.

You forget about joining govt service.
