hello i am a doctor..my sister in law filed FIR against my brother in which my as well as my parents name were involved.I am not a primary suspect .we applied for quash and high court has Given stay on FIR. Will that be problem in my selection for army as a doctor
Vijay Raj Mahajan (Expert) 11 October 2017
The FIR has not yet quashed against you just an order for stay in the proceedings at subordinate court, in such circumstance you have to check the exact Army rule for selection purposes. There is no conviction by any criminal court hence mere registering a FIR should not be any problem for selection purposes although you may be required to provide complete details of the criminal case being filled against you and all proceedings that took place in this regard in the various courts.

Refer the recruitment rules.

Do not hide the fact of pending FIR while applying. It would be revealed during police verification if not mentioned in application / verification form.

It is a fashion, trend to involve all in laws relation.
During inquiry you may get clean chit.

In any employment application, affidavit don;t conceal anything and post facts to questions under all columns.

In PVR form there is a question .is there any criminal case pending against you if yes then give details. In my case there is no criminal case as stay has been given on FIR itself i am Having doubt whether to tick on yes or no.
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 12 October 2017
During stay, case is pending not decided.
Kumar Doab (Expert) 12 October 2017
The fact is hat FIR is lodged and case is not decided.
