0n 2nd october gandhi jayanti - owner forcefully open office

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

I am working in Pvt Ltd company which runs a Hotel In Dehradun. The owner forcefully cancel our 2nd October Gandhi Jayanti leave the reason from the owner is 3 days off is not recommended as work will accumulate and will not be able to complete properly I suggest come on monday to work. Please let me is there any department where we complaint about our owner.

and also tell is it right or wrong?

Hotel is a business which functions 24 hours in 365 days rendering service to Indian and Foreign Guests and if you are particular you could plead him a paid holiday.

You can ask for compensation for working on national holiday as per your terms of appointment.

As an employee adopt a habit to log onto website to Dept. of Labor of the state, get in touch with Employee's/Trade unions and be properly informed of applicable enactments and your rights.....

Thee employer on IT's own may pay in current month salary the OT/substituted holiday per provisions of applicable enactments............. and you may get that reflected in salary slip also.

You have received plenty of downloadable tutorials through 6 continuous posts of Mr. Kumar Doab to waste at least one full day and may be night also. So, at first search the related websites, go through those tutorials, cram them by heart (if you really can), then try to find out whether you have found any practical solution to your problem out of those tutorials or not, and then go to your employer for fighting with him and ultimately get terminated.

So, you may either attend your duty on the 2nd October holiday or read the said lengthy tutorials day & night of 2nd October, may you be able to understand them or not even partially. Discretion is yours and decision will depend upon your own understanding only..

Mr. Kumar Doab seems to have acted just like a "Khisiani billi" to desperately justify yourself by posting 3 more vague and meaningless posts but without any practical advice for Mr. Amit Mehta. Evidently, for formality sake he has thanked all, but it is very clear that he is not satisfied with your vague and misleading advice.

Irrespective of your desperate attempt to justify yourself by making any number of vague and meaningless posts for Mr. Amit Kumar, rest assured, the fact cannot be ignored that you have failed to render any practical advice to Mr. Amit Mehta to suggest, what actually he should do to get rid of her present problem. Posting links of huge literature for a layman and suggesting him to contact employees trade union leaders would never solve his problem, as today, i.e., on 2nd October, by all means Mr. Amit.Mehta would have to attend his duties with no respite to him. You have also not suggested to which unions he should contact. There may be several unions. At first, he may have to spend number of days to find where, to which unions, and to which office bearers he should contact. At least, you should have stated, to which particular person/ office bearer of which particular union he should contact on which contact No. or on which address.

Further, it seems you don't have anything in the name of brain in your head. Can you guarantee that if Mr. Amit contacts some union leader, would that leader get the hotel closed on 2nd October (today) and let Mr. Amit enjoy the holiday? Also why any union leader would oblige Mr. Amit Mehta, if he does not happen to be their member. YOU HAVE JUST TRIED TO MISLEAD AND BEFOOL THE QUERIST, Mr AMIT MEHTA, IN TH ENAME OF YOUR ADVICE.

Still further, by your statement, "by posting your thanks and ending the thread......" is just like you have made yourself, "apne muh mian miththu". He has not thanked only you. When he has written, "thanks ALL for valuable replies." Apparently, you do not represent ALL, who posted their replies, i.e,, N.J.S Rjkumar, yourself, Jigyasu and your own close associate, Rajendra k Goyal.

So, is not your shameless attempt to make too many presumptions at your own for and on behalf of the querists. So, where he thanked exclusively to you. He thanked all and has not closed the thread also. Question arises, why he should close the thread just to get misled by you. He is supposed to wait for some wise advice from some expert, not like a fake expert with false name and other relevant ID of Mr. Kumar Doab..

However, all these posts have revealed your mental state.

Mr. Kumar Doab has tried to dump on you all the Central as well UP State's Acts & Rules, most of which may not be applicable in your State of Uttrakhand, and further advised to go through thousands of pages of those Acts & Rules, instead of providing any 2-3 liner specific solution to your problem in simple words.

You will be justified to ask Mr. Kumar Doab to indicate according to which specific section or Rule of any of his referred documents your problem can be solved.

You asked for solution to your problem, not for the downloadable links of multifarious irrelevant Acts and Rules of the Central and UP State Government, while your employment is in Uttrakhand State.

If he is really a legal expert, you will also be justified to ask his legal qualifications, if he possesses any.

I am sure, he will evade to reply your questions.

My God! another set of 9 continuous posts showing his sheer irritation and frustration, when he could have demonstrated his irritation and frustration in a single post also! That is a clear proof of his playing merely a number game, not a rational legal advice.

All of his abusive 9 posts clearly demonstrate the psycho state of the mind of Mr. Kumar Doab. He perhaps needs very urgent medical help.

The problem with Mr. Kumar Doab is that when he does not find any word to justify his wrong, misleading and vague advice, he just start numerous abusive posts one after the other in continuation out of a fit of his uncontrollable irritation and frustration.

Another secret of Mr. Kumar Doab is that he uses a secret code, "IT=@PSD" for the querists as well as the experts, but he has never clarified why and for what specific purpose he uses that, in spite of several requests through different threads at LCI. Such secret codes are said to be used mostly by the hardened criminals or suspected terrorists to give a signal or direction to their terrorist outfits to murder some specific person.

Can Mr. Kumar Doab clarify for whom he has used such a code word and for what purpose? I won't mind, if it has been used for me. But please spare the querist.
