Discrepancy in the name of nominee as per society records.

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 27 September 2017 This query is : Resolved
My mother is the nominee of the flat owned by my father. After my father's death we have completed all the formalities to transfer the flat in the name of my mother. While processing our application, Society noticed that there is mismatch in the applicant name and nominee as per nomination form. As per nomination form it is "Laxmibai" whereas in all the identity proofs name has been recorded as "Laxmi". Society has advised me to submit Affidavit mentioning that both the names are of a single person. Can you pls. advise me if what amount of stamp paper is required for affidavit ? in whose name stamp paper is required ? Affidavit needs to be notarized or not ? If witness signature is required as my mother can not sign and she will have to put her thumb impression on the Affidavit?

An open advertisement of his own website by Mr. Hemant Agarwal. If he did not know a very short reply to a very simple general query, Mr. Hemant Agarwal should not have tried to compel the querist to read a very lengthy article, with no answer to his present query, or to unduly ask him dive deep in to several of his unrelated posts at his own website.

By the way, can Mr. Hemant Agarwal point out, where out of his referred article or website contents the querist can find answer to his simple query and why he should waste several hours to read his articles?

Race to keep the top position on the part of Mr. Rajendra K Goyal, by merely stating, "no reply to queryfrom an author who is anonymous."

This is clearly against the LCI instruction that states below, " add value with your each post," while Mr. Goyal has made merely a vague post.

By the way, who compelled him to reply an anonymous query, but still he replies by making quite a vague post AND WHAT VALUE HE ADDED BY HIS SINGLE PURPOSELESS POST?

@the author of the query,

Every affidavit bears a stamp duty as per the rate fixed by the concerned state. For that you may contact the document writer in any nearest court. Also, an affidavit without attestation by a notary has the least value and can be rejected. In the case of illiterate deponent witness is a must.
