Your Excellency,
I have filed a domestic violence case of my client and the notice has been duly served to an opponent.AT THE TIME OF FILING I HAVE MOVED AN APPLICATION FOR INTERIM MAINTENANCE ALSO.nOW THE HUSBAND HAS APPEARED WITH AN ADVOCATE WHO TAKE TAKE TIME TO FILE HIS SAY SO MY QUERY IS THAT IN THE NEXT DATE CAN I EMPHASISE ON INTERIM MAINTENANCE OR NOT.PLEASE GUIDE ME I AM APPEARING FOR THE APPLICANT I.E. WIFE.

The question of the author make me feel as if in the Metropolitan city of Mumbai only a court with single judge and single listed lawyer (himself) is working, when he could not find any of his colleague lawyer to discuss the issue, if was unable to apply his own mind.

A two year old infant can't learn things so fast, as you may be expecting, particularly when his sole aim be to keep himself sitting only at the top.of the staircase.

Interim maintenance petition could be filed along with the pending DV case it self.As the DV cases has lot of procedures to be followed the Interim maintenance application to be filed and pleaded to be completed on priority with short dates.
