Sir I was arrested by bsf when I was going to my relative s house. They put foreign act 14c against me and send me to court.I was acquitted. May I take place in upsc or other government services. Do I have to mention about my case at the time of application. Here I want to state that I have passed upsc preliminary exam and in application by mistake I didn't mentioned about the case what to do? I need your advice humbly

Since you are acquitted there is no bar for you to sit for IAS and other Government examinations and aspire to qualify for the same and get selected.Even if you don't mention about your case nothing serious is going to happen. Good luck! Proceed with sitting for competitive examinations.

In consequence of acquittal by Court there is no (particular) case against you. Concentrate to take the UPSC exam without keeping the incident in your mind. With best wishes.
