Director's liability under ni act

Hi!
Here is a case were a Director being a drawer of a cheque issued has designed before the presentation. The Cheque issued by him was dishonored. Whether it is still possible to hold him liable in spite of Form32 filed before the date of Cheque dishonored ?

He is criminally liable if he issued cheque while there was no sufficient balance, even if he has resigned.

Yes,director is liable to be prosecuted as he has signed and issued the cheque irrespective of that he has resigned
