Warrant of possession issued

Sir,
warrant of possession was issued by the court a month back but the tenant lock the door and went away and not appearing in court nor his lawyer is appearing . But we went to court for the application for break the lock but the court gave fresh warrant of possession.

How long now it could take to get the place in our possession?

The complete facts are - that the tenant has not paid rent since long and we filed a case against him .
Warrant of possession was issued in the month of july , we went with police to get the place in our possession but the police officer said that you need to have order from court to break the lock ; since the tenant has locked the premises and went away .
Now the court said file application for break of lock and fresh warrant of possession is issued till the time application for the break the lock is not filed .
Does we will get the possession or the other party can take any step against the same ?
And is it true if he will appear before the court , court can ask him to deposit the rent first ?

You file application of break of lock and warrant of of possession afresh.Once you obtain the required orders from the court you can break the lock open and get inside the leased premises back into your possession.In case the lessee appears the court would certainly ask him to deposit rent in court that has fallen in arrears.
