not a compelable right

You, being a Central Government ( Undertaking)employee working in banking sector, the bank has every right to transfer of its employees to all over India, where it has branches. So on the ground of your wife's employment in State Government, you have no right to get "Stay orders" from a competent court.

You can be transferred as per your service rules.

Posting at a place can not be claimed as a matter of right.

Maintaining cordial relations with seniors may help to some extent.

Agreeing with Experts.

In policy matters e.g; promotion and transfer, it is better to avoid confrontation with seniors/management and rather apply goodwill, rapport and skillfully resolve the matter in employee’s favor.

In promotion matters courts rarely interfere that too only if there is proof of malafide or arbitrariness. Given facts do not suggest any such thing.
