Who should file income tax return? My income from remuneration is
Rs 264423/- for the year 2015-16.
Should I have to file return?

For the Financial Year 2015-16 relevant to Assessment Year 2016-17, the threshold limit for filing Income Tax Return was Total Income exceeding Rs. 250000/- only.As your income has exceeded the limit, you are liable to file your return for the above period in the capacity of an Individual.
