IN CIVIL CASE I AM DEFENDANT ALONG THE WRITTEN STATEMENT I HAVE FILED COPIES OF THE DOCUMENTS NOW THE SUIT IS IN EVIDENCE STAGE,PL ADVICE
U/O RULE I HAVE TO FILE APPLICATION TO PRODUCE ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS.

1. While during your examination in chief you can file an application u/s 151 of C.P.C. along with the originals of such marked documents attached with your W.S. so that the marked documents submitted by you with your W.S. will then be marked by the court as Exhibits after comparing the true copies with the original documents. You can later on when the trial is over can apply to the court Registrar to return the original documents submitted by you.
2. Had you got such copies of the document submitted along with your W.S. compared and verified by the Registrar who would then would have endorsed such noting as " compared with original" on such copies of the documents in context and then the necessity of producing the originals during the trial would not have arisen.
