Taking case return

sir,
My sister husband wants divorce,
So My sister filed a DVC case on her husband.
Later that he was accused in a criminal case of minor girl kidnapping. he died recently(year back), we moved DVC to his parents. now case at stage of listening sakshyam of ours. but my parents are planning to do marriage to my sister. so we want to take return the case. is it possible,what is the process.

Yes, DVC can be allowed ti be dismissed on no prosecution at any point of time at the wish of the aggrieved person.
