In a case u/s 420/467/471/381 IPC accused acquitted on 17.4.15.I applied its certified copy of judgement on 20.4.15 actually files consigned in different district but after short span of period.later on12.5.15 they returned my application by report that file consigned in record room of different district,and i again applied fresh copy on 13.5.15 to the concerned record room.I want to file appeal against acquittal when my limitation start and finish.plz reply soon its very urgent.i did not get judgement till now

Cause of action starts from the date of supply of certified copy from the concerned court. You will have to file delay condone application to avid the technical defect

Limitation to file appeal is thirty days from the date of the acquittal order.But as expert Shri Nikhil Singh stated the time taken for obtaining the certified copy is excluded from calculating the time limit.
